OATI Successfully Completes SAS 70 Type II Audit

MINNEAPOLIS — February 19, 2008 — Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the OATI 2007 SAS 70 Type II Audit. 2007 is the second straight audit period that received an unqualified Type II Opinion Report. This success shows the viability of the OATI systems and processes in use throughout the energy industry.

The SAS 70 Audit is a comprehensive and independent evaluation of the effectiveness of service organizations processes and controls. SAS 70 audits are accepted under the Sarbanes-Oxley act and represent that the controls necessary for a major service provider were operating and successfully tested.
