OATI webMeter supports advanced metering and Smart Grid applications for utilities of all sizes. webMeter expands the conventional MDMS functionality with full support for interval readings, time-based aggregation, handling event-based data (e.g., last-gasp signals and remote disconnect), handling non-consumption-based data (e.g., voltage reading), as well as management of data associated with the meter assets, meter configuration, and communication data links. webMeter provides rule-based Validation, Estimation, and Edit (VEE) functionality, as well as scalable capabilities for meter data storage, data analysis, simple/complex billing determinant computation, and customer service support.
